Frequently Asked Questions About Real Magazine
Q: What is the age range for Real magazine? A: Real is designed for children ages 9-15.
Q: How soon will children begin receiving Real? A: The magazine launched in January 2010.
Q: How much does Real magazine cost? A: The subscription price is $9.95. However, it costs you NOTHING to submit a child's name to receive Real. We are counting on the support of generous donors to cover the cost of sending the outreach magazine to unchurched young people.
Q: Can I purchase a subscription to Real magazine? I want to be sure the child will get it even if donated funds are not available. A: Yes. To purchase a subscription, click here or contact Subscriber Services at 1-800-456-3991. (Please note that the cost of purchased subscriptions is not tax deductible.)
Q: What happens after the first one-year subscription is over? Can the child continue receiving Real for free? A: Yes. We will contact you as the sponsor to ask if you want to keep sending Real to that child. If so, we will continue the free subscription.
Q: What is the difference between Real magazine and Guide magazine? A: Guide magazine is produced weekly and targets Seventh-day Adventist juniors and earliteens, most of whom receive it at Sabbath school. Real magazine comes out six times a year, and the content is geared for children who don't attend church. Real contains many of the same true stories, fun facts, challenging puzzles, and other Christ-centered content that has made Guide popular over its more than 55-year history.
Q: Will the weekly Guide magazine still be produced? A: Yes! Guide subscribers can count on receiving the weekly Guide as they always have.
