Guide: The Lost Creatures of Harry Baerg |
Help Bring Color to Our Nature StripsGuide magazine didn't have color back in the days when Harry Baerg drew these nature strips. So it's up to you if you want to see them in color. Download them, color them and send them back to us. There's a good chance we'll let the whole world see your finished work. How to Color a StripChoose a strip you want to color. If you want to color it by hand, simply print the page on your computer's printer. To color the strip in a paint program like Photoshop or GIMP, download by right clicking on the strip and selecting "Save image as . . ." Then open the image in your paint program. How to Share Your Color StripIf you colored the strip on your computer, save the finished file and e-mail it to guide@rhpa.org. (We prefer .jpg, .bmp or .psd files, but we can work with almost anything.) If you hand-colored the strip, you can scan the image and send the digital file to the e-mail listed above. Or you can just mail it to: Guide magazine55 West Oak Ridge Dr. Hagerstown, MD 21740 We'll place one submission on display in the place of each original black and white nature strip. ![]() Go Back |
