A couple of weeks ago I spent Sabbath morning at the Paradise Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church near San Diego, California. The juniors and earliteens (pictured below) played a few rounds of the FACTory trivia game. I also noticed kids helping out running video cameras during the church service. It's neat to see young people getting involved at church!
San Diego was sunny and warm, which seemed very nice since we were just getting done with winter here in Maryland. I enjoyed walking along the beach and watching the waves crashing into the rocks and the surfers trying not to crash into the waves. I also drove out into the desert to see the cactus and other flowers blooming, which happens for only a short time in the spring.
After that I traveled to Houston, where I also met quite a few Guide fans! I was spreading the word about Real, our new outreach magazine.
